Argall to quarantine after COVID-19 exposure

State Sen. David Argall, R-Schuylkill /Berks said his doctor recommends he quarantine until results of his COVID-19 test come back.

“I got tested and I should have the results in a few days. I feel fine,” Argall said early Tuesday afternoon.

Argall said he has not spoken to Sen. Doug Mastriano, R- Franklin or Sen. Mario Scavello, R-Monroe/Northampton since the Associated Press reported Mastriano has tested positive for COVID-19. Mastriano had attended a meeting at the White House Wednesday with President Donald Trump. Mastriano left after learning of the test results.

Argall, Scavello and Mastriano were among those who attended a meeting in Gettysburg Wednesday of the Senate Majority Policy Committee held at the Wyndham Hotel in Gettysburg to discuss election issues. Argall was wearing a mask on video posted on his Facebook page, but did take it off to speak. Mastriano was not wearing a mask.

Scavello was next to Argall at the hearing in Gettysburg.
