Northampton Community College will hold information sessions about its Micro-credentials in Manufacturing class every Monday at noon in January, and on Wednesdays, through Jan. 15, at 10 a.m. at the Fowler Family Southside Center, 511 E. Third St., Bethlehem.

The classes will start at the end of January in the Fowler Center and will prepare graduates for entry-level manufacturing positions in the Lehigh Valley.

Students will earn OSHA-10 certification as well as “micro-credentials” in areas including lean manufacturing, quality assurance and blueprint reading.

Students will tour local facilities, explore careers within manufacturing, participate in Career Day with local employers and receive certificates upon completion.
