Care Net of Carbon County, Highway Safety Network and Kids Zone of St. Luke’s University will be hosting a free car seat safety class on April 16.

The event will take place at 1 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., Lehighton, and will cover if the car seat you are using for your child is approved, how to properly install the car seat, when it is time to move your child to the next seat or if they are big enough to just use a seat belt.

Registration is required; deadline to register is April 12.
