It’s the Reader’s Turn at S.S. Palmer Elementary

Saturday is the start of National Money Smart Week. We asked six students at S.S. Palmer Elementary if they were given $100, how would they choose to spend it?

Mia Jones, fifth grade“I would help my mom pay the bills. If I had something extra, I would get something for me and my siblings.”
Willow Brown, second grade“I would put it in the big bank in town.”
Noah Bryfogle, sixth grade“I’d use it to make more money. When I got more money, I’d give it to charity, maybe an orphan shelter, or to help some family members.”
Emmet Hunt, third grade“I would give it to my family for different things.”
Levi Johnson, fourth grade“I would give $50 of it to charity and use the other $50 on toys, which I would also donate.”
Leah Prutzman, sixth grade“I would put it toward getting a car when I’m older.”
