St. Luke’s University Hospital will host a diabetes support group that will meet every other month starting April 23.

Sessions will alternate between the Miners Campus in Coaldale and the Gnaden Huetten Campus in Lehighton. All sessions will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. in the respective hospitals’ community rooms.

The group is designed to help patients dealing with diabetes, their family and friends, and anyone interested in learning more about the disease.

No registration is required, but interested parties are advised to call ahead of time, at 570-645-8107, to confirm the session hasn’t been postponed.

The schedule includes: April 23 in Coaldale; June 25 in Lehighton; Aug. 15 in Coaldale; and Oct. 17 in Lehighton.
