Megan R. Ray, Weatherly, has been accepted to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, where she will begin classes this August. Ray will participate in the “white coat ceremony” in September, where she will be part of the ceremonious rite of passage and officially enter the ranks of the school’s physicians-in-training as she earns her doctorate of veterinary medicine degree. Ross University is an advanced School of Veterinary Medicine located in St. Kitts.

Ray, a dean’s list student, graduated from Kutztown University in three and a half years with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, with a concentration in pre-veterinary medicine.

She is also a 2015 top ten graduate of Weatherly Area High School, and is the daughter of Cindy and Robert Yurchak, and Lawrence Ray, Weatherly, where she resides with brothers Andrew and Steph.
