A pickup truck was destroyed by a fallen tree in West Penn township late Friday night.

The tree fell due to high winds along Spring Road just south of Route 443.

The owner of the home reports the truck belongs to his son-in-law who is with his wife in Florida preparing to leave on a cruise.
