Mahoning Township Police Department is seeking information on construction equipment that was vandalized last month at a bridge replacement job site.

Township police Chief Audie Mertz said the equipment was damaged at the Packerton entrance to the railroad yard along Route 209.Mertz said power lights were smashed, as was glass on one piece of equipment. The damage was estimated to be about $4,000, he said.Police are seeking tips.
