Carbon County Commissioners approved the following:

• A revised agreement with Reading Blue Mountain and Northern Railroad, Port Clinton, for reimbursement of 100 percent of the actual costs for railroad flagging and protective services associated with the D&L Pedestrian Bridge project. The amount is $160,000 and will be covered by the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor.The commissioners said that the figure is based off 160 construction days.• The resignation of Gayle M. Gersbach of Easton, aging care manager II, Area Agency on Aging, effective Sept. 28.• The resignation of Jarryd C. Ruch of Palmerton, corrections officer, effective Oct. 1.• Hiring Richard A. Stobaugh of Albrightsville, part-time K-9 officer, animal shelter, effective Sept. 28.• Change of status of Albaro A. Castro of Hazleton, from part-time corrections officer/Teamsters to corrections officer, effective Oct. 10.
