Wind chills to 30 below tonight; snow, sleet, freezing rain Monday

The National Weather Service says wind chill values tonight and Sunday morning will be as low as 20 to 30 degrees below zero.

The combination of very low wind chills and frigid air temperatures have the potential to result in frozen pipes, frostbite and hypothermia.'

A low pressure system could bring a substantial wintry mix to the area. Precipitation should start off as snow Monday and changeover to sleet and freezing rain Monday night. Pockets of freezing rain may linger in some of the colder spots Tuesday.

Morning while it transitions to just rain elsewhere. The rain may be heavy at times early Tuesday and could lead to poor drainage flooding on Tuesday.

There is still quite a bit of uncertainty regarding the track of this storm and we urge all interests to monitor forecasts for early this week.
