On Sunday over 45 children and confirmation students participated in a Christmas program titled "The Church Mouse Family" at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lehighton. The program was written and directed by the Rev. Nancy L. Moore. The accompaniment was provided by Susan Lovejoy, minister of music. The cast portrayed the Holy Family, a church mouse family, a mouse chorus and walk-on characters portraying some of the "real members," staff and the pastor of the church. The good news of the birth of Jesus came shining through from the narrators to the littlest cast members portraying camels to sheep. CONTRIBUTED PHOTO
