Church is collecting only new or laundered, slightly used clothing for infants, children and adult sizes. This is a partnership with St. Peter's Community Resource Center, 177 Main Road, Lehighton. The clothing will be collected at Bethany EC Church at the alley side door. Donated clothing can be dropped off on Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to Noon or Wednesday from 6:30-8 p.m.Upcoming events:• Bethany's Christmas Cantata, "Breath of Heaven," Sunday during the 10:45 a.m. worship service. Third St., Lehighton, at 8:30 a.m. The Sunday school Christmas program "The Church Mouse Family" presentation begins at 11 a.m. The Rev. Nancy Moore is the presiding pastor. Coffeehouse fellowship is at 9:30 a.m. Volunteers are welcome to help decorate the church sanctuary in preparation for Christmas at 9 a.m. Saturday.For those desiring a baptism date or seeking new congregational membership, informational sessions with the pastor will be available by appointment this month.
