Members of the Lake Hauto Club voted 309 to 158 to revise the club bylaws which would clear the way for purchasing lake property from Northeast Land Company.The bylaw changes would also make it possible for the club's board to sell proprietary certificates to property holders, the proceeds of which will be used in part for the proposed purchase of lake property.The land company has developed about 700 lots on the north side of the lake during the past 10 years and announced last winter its remaining holdings are for sale with the club having the first opportunity to buy them.
