The Northern Lehigh Swimming Pool located at Victory Park in Slatington is in danger of closing.

The pool has been used by the community for 52 years and maybe forced to close if a new pool manager and volunteer board members do not come forward.Farrell Snyder, the current pool manager has decided to retire after being involved with the community project for over 30 years.Along with Snyder several board officers are also set to retire.In order to keep the much used pool afloat new volunteers will have to step forward.The next board of directors meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m, Tuesday at the Northern Lehigh Elementary School, 1201 Shadow Oaks Lane, Slatington, in the cafeteria.
