The Rev. Donald L. Brown was designated to serve as interim pastor of three Lutheran churches in the Lehighton area: Grace Lutheran in Lehighton, Zion Lutheran in Packerton and St. Paul's Lutheran in Weissport.

He will assume the position effective Sept. 1, reports the Northeastern Pennsylvania Snyod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.Rev. Brown and his wife, Eleanor, are residents of Allentown.The 1959 graduate of the Lutheran Theological Seminary, Mount Airy, previously served St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Summit Hill, 1960-67, and Zion Lutheran Church, Nesquehoning, 1963-67.
