A Walker Township egg farm has withdrawn its application for expansion.

Heisler's Egg Farm Inc., 757 Valley Road, had applied to the Walker Township Zoning Hearing Board seeking a special exception, to exceed allowed animal units per acre, and a variance, to expand more than 25 percent. The matter was scheduled to be heard May 27, but the hearing was continued until June 29 because some residents said neighboring property owners had not been properly notified of the plan.The June 29 hearing was canceled because the application has been withdrawn by Heisler's Egg Farm.
