Lehighton police are investigating the discovery of a body found Friday afternoon along Main Lane.

Police say it is a male who has reportedly not been seen for a month.

Police say an autopsy is scheduled for Saturday to determine the identity of the victim and cause of death.

The body was found in the snow in a wooded area to the south of Main Lane near a railroad tressel.
