Soup and scripture

St. Johns Lutheran Church, South Avenue, will hold its second Lenten "soup and Scripture" evening at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the fellowship hall. Joan DeAcetis will lead the Scripture and the study will be The Pharisee and the Tax Collector. The menu will be make your own sandwiches.BloodmobileThe American Red Cross Bloodmobile will be stationed at the Mauch Chunk Rod and Gun Club from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday.
