A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following an incident that occurred at 2:18 a.m. on Sunday along Route 61 between Seven Stars Road and the Cressona Mall in North Manheim Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Robert Krall, 37, of Pine Grove, was driving a 2004 Hyundai Tiburon southbound when he was stopped for several traffic violations.He was found to be under the influence of alcohol and failed field sobriety tests. He was then transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street in Pottsville, where he submitted to a blood test.Troopers said charges are pending the test results.
