Pleasant Valley Area School District board of directors will vote on the 2015-2016 preliminary budget at the 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015.

At the meeting this month, the board approved:• Hiring Judy Dondey as a homebound instructor and Deena Boyne as an administrative secretary, replacement position for Beverly Hofford.• The resignation of Jasmin Williams, part-time paraprofessional associate, effective Dec. 5.• Paying the estimated cost of $33,500 to Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit #16 for 2015-2016 computer services• The contract with Zipit for annual platform fee and annual service agreement of $2,839.
