A Dollar General may be coming to Kresgeville.

The business has a sale pending agreement with property owner Sue Beers along Route 209, across the street from the Polk Elementary School.Justin Ross, a Dollar General representative, met with Polk Township's zoning hearing board a month ago and learned that the current township regulations call for a parking lot with 50 stalls.Dollar General thought that was excessive and they only want 30 stalls.The business plans to request a zoning ordinance amendment.Ross submitted a sketch plan at Monday night's Polk Township supervisors' meeting and the board thought it might work but will have to go through the proper zoning and planning commission procedures.
