Flames erupted from burning pickup truck on East White Bear Drive near the Route 902 intersection in Summit Hil Friday.

The truck is owned by Todd Konstas of Summit Hill. Firefighters contained the flames to the cab and engine compartment of the truck.

Most of his ladders and other equipment were salvaged.

The fire started in the engine compartment. Firefighters from Summit Hill and Lansford responded.
