A Schuylkill County woman has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of simple assault, reckless endangering, harassment, criminal mischief, careless driving and trespass with a motor vehicle after police say she struck a man several times with a knife.

The unidentified 37-year-old man from Tower City was flown to Hershey Medical Center for medical treatment. The victim had been sitting inside a van parked along Collier Avenue when Sitlinger struck him several times and cut him.

State police in Schuylkill Haven said that Lacey Sitlinger, 30, of the 1500 block of East Colliery Avenue, Porter Township, Schuylkill County, struck the man several times with a knife, cutting his face and neck with the knife. The man was able to get out of the van and get away from her.

Police then said that Sitlinger drove through a yard and fled on Route 209.

Sitlinger was taken into custody, arraigned and placed into Schuylkill County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail.
