BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) — Police say a New Jersey man participating in an eastern Pennsylvania gun club event ended up in the hospital after accidentally shooting himself.
Bethlehem police Deputy Chief Todd Repsher told The Express-Times (http://bit.ly/1mWx8FX) that the man was at the Steel City Gun Club on Tuesday as part of a program put on by the National Rifle Association and hosted in part by the Bethlehem Police Department.Repsher said city police handled the incident and sent the man to a hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening leg injury.The man's name was not released.Several police and security agencies were taking part in the program, including two Bethlehem police officers.___Information from: The (Easton, Pa.)
