A three-vehicle, rear-end crash was reported about 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4, along SR183 in North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County, which was caused by a driver attempting to make an illegal left turn.

State police at Schuylkill identified the three drivers as Wilbur G. Stein, 94, of Schuylkill Haven; Christine M. Hegadush, 61, of Auburn; and a 17-year-old female from Pottsville.All three were eastbound when Stein stopped and attempted to turn left into a parking lot of a CVS pharmacy where it is clearly marked that left turns are prohibited.Hegadush was unable to stop and the front of her 2005 Toyota Matrix hit the rear of Stein's 1980 Ford Fairmont. The teen was behind Hegadush and was unable to stop and the front of her 2009 Dodge Caliber hit the rear of the Matrix.No one was injured. The Toyota had to be towed from the scene.Troopers cited Stein for obedience to traffic-control devices.
