The Diocese of Allentown's Office of Marriage and Family Life Formation is sponsoring a daylong conference on "Raising Awareness of the Effects of Pornography in Our Culture."

The conference will be held Saturday, September 7 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Bethlehem from 9 a.m-3:30 p.m.The conference speaker is Doctor Peter Kleponis of Comprehensive Counseling Services and the Institute for Marital Healing in West Conshohocken.The conference is open to anyone who knows or loves someone struggling in the snare of pornography. This includes parents, spouses, grandparents, clergy, psychologists, social workers, professional counselors, teachers and youth ministry leaders.Doctor Kleponis' three talks are: "Understanding the Pornography Epidemic in America," "The Path of Addiction," and "Protecting Families and the Role of Narcissism in Pornography Use."The registration deadline is Wednesday, August 27.
