The light for the 35 foot flagpole at the Coaldale Veterans Memorial has been completely refurbished in time for the Fourth of July. Jim Swanson, left, did the electrical work gratis and Bill Gaddes did the restoration. Now "Old Glory" will receive its just illumination both day and night. Monies were provided by the WW II memorial Fund. There are no services planned for the Fourth of July, but citizens are encouraged to visit both the Veterans and the Women's Memorials to pay their respects.
