Northwestern rolled past rival Northern Lehigh in Colonial League action Tuesday.

Northwestern made the most of a strong start and held on for a 12-4 win over rival Northern Lehigh in Colonial League action.

Boston Furjanic and Richard Perry each knocked in four runs for Northwestern. Taylor Breininger went 4-for-4 and also drove in two for the Tigers (3-1; 1-1).

Ryan Martinez had two hits and scored a run for Northern Lehigh (0-3).

North Schuylkill jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, cruising to a 12-1 Schuylkill League win over Jim Thorpe.

Matt Smarkanic earned the win for the Spartans and knocked in two runs. Tom Gallagher chipped in a two-run double.

Colton Knox had two singles for the Olympians (1-3).

Bangor took advanatge of some early Palmerton errors to open up an early lead en route to a 14-5 Colonial League win.

Tanner Brescancine had a double and four RBIs for Bangor. Joey Nigito added two doubles and three RBIs.

Lee Kuntz went 3-for-4 for the Bombers, knocking in three runs with a double and a homer.

The Hilltoppers got a one-hit shutout from Tyler Hunyara as they handed the Wreckers a 10-0 Schuylkill League loss.

Brett Stallone had the only hit for Weatherly.

Mahanoy Area-Marian

Gabby Cann scored on a wild pitch before Abbey Hill singled home the game-winning run to help Marian to a 4-3 come-from-behind win over Mahanoy Area.

Kaitlin Kowker, Cann and Sam Faust had consecutive singles to load the bases with one out in the seventh. Following a fielder's choice at the plate, Cann scored on a wild pitch. Hill then delivered a two-out walkoff single. Cann and Hill each had two hits.

Bethany Shaud earned the win for the Fillies (2-0, 1-0) and struck out 10 batters.

North Schuylkill dropped Jim Thorpe, 24-1, in Schuylkill League action.

Nadya Spotts had a triple and knocked in three runs for North Schuylkill. Brianna Splauch and Kayla Bolinski each added two-run doubles for the Lady Spartans.

Jocelyn Demarco had a single and RBI for Thorpe.
