State police at Frackville are investigating a burglary at a Schuylkill County facility in which vintage fire vehicles are stored.

The entry occurred at a former cigar plant and storage facility along White Owl Road, in Mahanoy Township, just outside Mahanoy City.Entry was gained by prying a lock off an entrance door to the large facility where the fire apparatus is stored. The criminals then broke another lock of an interior storage room. The facility was rummaged through by the intruders. It has not yet been determined if anything was taken.The incident occurred sometime overnight of Saturday, Oct. 11, and Sunday.
