Allegedly stole laptops from Wal-mart

A New Jersey man has been arrested by Mahoning Township police and charged with stealing four laptops from Wal-mart.

Robert Hann, 24, of Phillipsburg, was arraigned before District Judge Edward M. Lewis on charges of retail theft, receiving stolen property, and criminal conspiracy, retail theft.He was committed to the Carbon County Correctional Facility in lieu of $100,000, 10 percent bail.According to police, on April 12, at 1:35 a.m., Hann entered the Lehighton Wal-mart, and picked up two laptops. He then fled the store using the fire exit with the laptops, failing to purchase the items.Police said he entered the store a second time on April 14, 2012 at 4:28 a.m., taking two more laptops.The stolen laptops were valued at $1681.16 dollars.On June 18, Hann was taken into custody by Mahoning Township Police at the Warren County Prison in Belvidere, NJ.
