On Tuesday, the Carbon County Salary Board set salaries for court appointed employees covered under the AFSCME collective bargaining unit. The rates are effective from Jan. 1.

Adult Probation• Established the position of one deputy chief adult probation officer at $28.49 per hour;• Established the position of one probation officer II/gagnon hearing officer at $23.45 per hour;• Established the position of two probation officers II at $21.04 per hour;• Established the position of one probation officer II at $20.42 per hour;• Established the position of one probation officer II at $19.26 per hour;• Established the position of one probation officer II at $17.62 per hour;• Established the rate of $45 per day for primary on-call pay; and $25 per day for backup on-call pay.Juvenile Court• Established the position of one deputy chief juvenile probation officer at $23.85 per hour;• Established the position of one probation officer II at $21.67 per hour;• Established the position of one probation officer II at $21.04 per hour;• Established the position of one probation officer I at $16.46 per hour;• Established the rate of $45 per day for primary on-call pay; and $25 per day for backup on-call pay.Domestic Relations• Established the position of one domestic relations officer II at $23.92 per hour;• Established the position of two domestic relations officers II at $16.80 per hour;• Established the position of one domestic relations officers I at $15.24 per hour.
