Chestnuthill Township supervisors awarded a bid, 3-0, to Burnley Employment for cleaning/maintenance of the Transfer Station at $92.69 per hour. This would be a total for seven workers. The only other bid was from SPW Cleaning Services, Inc. for $125 per hour for five workers.

Dave Albright, the township manager, said that Burnley has been doing the job for the last three years and the township has been very pleased with their work. All three supervisors agreed.A Freon bid was awarded to AC&Pocono Refrigeration Service, 3-0. It was the only bid received. It is currently providing the service at $20 per refrigerator and freezer units and will continue at that rate. It went up $5 per air conditioner and dehumidifier units, from $20 to $25 per unit.
