Special visitors to Marian Catholic High School on Dec. 13 included two graduates, Sister Susan Porvaznik, IHM and Sister Rose Mulligan, IHM. They were accompanied by Sister Mary Glackin, IHM and Sister Melissa Mastrangelo. The sisters came to address the topic of vocations with the students, providing an insight into the vocation to Religious Life, particularly as a Sister, Servant of the Immaculate Heart of May. The IHM's, who minister at Marian, Our Lady of the Angels, McAdoo Catholic and All Saints, have a long history of teaching in the Coal Region, including teaching evening classes to the miners at the peak of the mining industry.
