Once a month, the fire company will hold a dance, with entertainment that will range from a sock hop featuring "Olde Friends", a Bowmanstown-based band, playing 50s, 60s and 70s; to "The Captives", a Palmerton-based band, on New Year's Eve, to "Rehab" and T-Bagg", a Lehighton-area band that plays classic rock.Every third Friday there is a Dinner with Heinz, which features Heinz Rausch as chef. "Firefighters train hard and need all the financial help they can get."Spairana said to watch the TIMES NEWS advertisements for future events, or visit
