Bloodmobile results

For the first time in several Miller-Keystone Blood Center community blood drives in Palmerton, the goal of 75 registered potential donors fell short, as only 70 people donated. In all, 68 units of blood were collected. The following donors reached various gallon levels: David Huszar, 13 gallons; Mary Elizabeth Cyr, 10 gallons; Garry Mack, 8 gallons; Timothy Beltz, Richard Bobal and Lisa Hawk, 6 gallons each; Robert Borgia and Patricia Johannes, 5 gallons each; Dennis Bonser, 4 gallons; Mildred Kistler and Brian Wanamaker, 2 gallons each; William Gallagher, 1 gallon. There were four first-time donors.Palmerton is fortunate to have more volunteers than many nearby communities.
