The suit states that the plaintiff paid the law firm $95,000 to represent him if criminal charges were filed against him in Luzerne County court. He also gave the firm $25,000 for escrow for bail if arrested, the suit claims.
The suit states the plaintiff was never charged and the $25,000 was returned. The suit alleges the plaintiff requested a bill for services but did not get one and then asked again for a bill through his new legal counsel, but was told by the defendant that he had never hired the firm.
Alleged if breach of contract and unjust enrichment and sought is damages of $95,100 plus interest, costs and fees.
