A spectacular fireworks display Saturday night will occur at the annual block party of the Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Company.

The festival will be held Friday, Saturday, and Sunday on the fire company grounds.On Friday, the band Nite Flyte will entertain, with a seafood dinner served from 4-7 p.m.On Saturday, Night Wind is the featured band, followed by the fireworks display.The band Boomerang entertains on Sunday.The fire safety house, used to teach children how to escape from a dwelling during an emergency, will be at the block party all three nights.A book fair will be held in conjunction with the festival.
