Bloodmobile results

Miller-Keystone Blood Center's Oct. 7 community visit at the First United Church of Christ drew 65 potential donors, and 61 units of blood were collected.

This visit was sponsored by the Concourse Club.

The following donors reached gallon levels: Delbert Eckhart, 20 gallons; Delphin George and James Shafer, 5 gallons each; Betty Furler, 4 gallons; Richard Bachert and William Hayes, 2 gallons each.

Volunteers included Harry Brown, "Biff" Hayes, Shirley Neff, "Trina" Ely, Nancy Thomas, Perma Snyder, Helen Nonnemaker, "Tootsie" Steinmetz, Lucille Rex, Carol Ziegenfus, Pam Andrews, George Ashman, Romaine Biege, Martha Boruta, Jane Cervenak, "Honey" Cyr, Diane Danielson, Jean Fritzinger, Rita Goidich, Shirley Greene, Jean Halmi, Anita Harry, Cindy Heimbach, Marian Hoffner, Susan Hunsicker, Bernice Kleintop, Nancy Kresge, Paula Lendvay, Susan and Chris Olivia, Evelyn Plechavy, Marge Porambo, Terri Sebelin, Betty Steigerwalt, Kathy Steigerwalt, Mary Taschler, Annette Wargo, Tara Wargo, and Brenda Wentz.

The next Miller-Keystone community visit will be on Monday, Dec. 13.

There will also be an M-K bloodmobile at Palmerton Area High School on Thursday, Dec. 2.
