The Hometown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, on SR54 in Hometown, will offer local children a safe trick or treat night on Oct. 29. The event will be held from 5-8 p.m.Trinity UCCThe Rev. Dr. David Grant will officiate at the 10 a.m. worship service this Sunday in Trinity United Church of Christ. The service will include words for young Christians and will be followed by a buffet-style ham dinner in Founder's Hall. Nursery care is available during the service. Sunday school classes will meet at 8:45 a.m.Activities for next week will include: Wednesday, Bible study at 7 p.m.; Thursday, Senior Choir rehearsal at 6 p.m.; Saturday, soup sale.Poll changeVoters in Tamaqua's South District will see a change in polling place for the November election. Instead of the South Ward Playground, voting will now be held at the South Ward Fire Company on Van Gelder Street.Details of the change have been mailed to all registered voters in the district.Zion LutheranThe Rev.
