Blue Mountain Health System will recognize National Cholesterol Education Awareness Month with a cholesterol program that includes an educational session and bingo game at 1 p.m. Wed., Sept. 25, in the community room at the Gnaden Huetten campus of BMHS, 211 N. 12th St. in Lehighton.

About half of all adults in America have cholesterol levels that are too high, which means there's a good chance yours are. Keeping your cholesterol levels healthy is a great way to keep your heart healthy and lower your chances of getting heart disease or having a stroke.
