The theft of a motor vehicle in Schuylkill County is being investigated by state police at Schuylkill Haven.

Troopers said a 2006 bronze Saturn Ion was taken from the area of Peach Mountain Road, near the Mary Queen of Peace cemetery, in Norwegian Township, sometime between Monday at 8 p.m. and Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. Troopers said the vehicle's owner, an Ashland resident, reported he ran out of gas and left the vehicle at the above location and returned the next day and found it missing. The car has state registration number KGN2601.Anyone with information concerning this vehicle is asked to call troopers at 570-739-1330.
