Monroe crashes probed

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating three crashes recently, all occurring in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

• The first crash was reported at 11:35 a.m. onThursday along Burger Hollow Road at the Chestnuthill and Polk township line. Troopers said Jase A. Correa, 22, of Effort, was driving a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee southbound and exiting a right curve when he lost control. The Jeep crossed over the northbound lane and onto the berm where the driver's side rear struck a block/concrete culvert.Correa was not injured but the Jeep had to be towed from the scene.• A two-vehicle crash was reported at 10:44 a.m. onFriday along Route 209, east of Glendale Drive. Troopers said Michael R. Hogrelius, 24, of Kunkletown, and Tracy L. Roskamp, 45, of Effort, were both northbound. Roskamp slowed down due to traffic ahead of her when her 2011 Kia Optima was struck in the rear by Hogrelius' 2001 Toyota Corolla.No one was injured. The Toyota had to be towed.Troopers cited Hogrelius for following too closely.
