The motorcyclist killed in a crash on Friday evening in Lehigh Township, Northampton County, has been identified as a Palmerton area resident.

Kevin Letterhouse, 46, of Fireline Road, was identified as the driver of a Harley Davidson motorcycle that crashed about 10:37 p.m. along Cherryville Road at the intersection with Locust Drive.Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek pronounced Letterhouse dead at the scene. His motorcycle collided with Chevrolet Equinox sports utility vehicle. Letterhouse died of multiple blunt-force trauma.A passenger with him, Pamela Kellow, 48, of Northampton, was flown to St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem. Township police said Letterhouse and Kellow were not wearing helmets.The driver of the SUV was identified as Michael Mathesz, 62, of Northampton. Mathesz was not injured.
