Glen Robert Laudenslager, a resident at Heritage Hill Senior Community in Weatherly, is celebrating his 95th birthday on May 15.

Born in Lewistown, he has lived in Cape May and Colonia, New Jersey, as well as in Port Charlotte, Florida over the years.After graduation from high school he worked at the American Viscose Corp., making rayon thread for use in clothing, stockings and more.He spent three years in the Army Air Force and was stationed in Southern Italy as a radar mechanic. He also worked as a machine operator for 41 years in the steel mill.He married Rosetta Leona, on Dec. 23, 1939. They were married for 50 years until her passing.Glen has two children, Kemper Lee Mahon, who died in 2011, and Deborah Ann Masperi of New Jersey. He also has four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.He is currently involved in the Learn N Serve computer program at Heritage Hill. He is an avid reader, plays the organ, loves music, sports cars, swimming and fishing.
