State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a burglary that happened on Aug. 21 in Chestnuthill Township.

The burglar broke a first floor bedroom window in the home of Richard W. Avery, 50, of 107 Bracks Road, to gain entry and took six long guns.Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call state police at 570-646-2271.
