One woman has been charged in connection with a civil dispute in Tamaqua dating back to July. The delay in filing charges was lack of a new address for the defendant.
Police were dispatched to 104 Market St. for a civil dispute involving Shannon Shobe, 30, and Mary Eva D'Angelo, 26. According to Shobe, D'Angelo was moving out and in the course of events, struck, slapped and hit Shobe, at one point attempting to throw her down the stairs from the second floor. D'Angelo then left the scene.
Now residing at 330 Julian St., Williamsport, D'Angelo was cited for harassment.
