In other action, Tamaqua beat Jim Thorpe in baseball and softball action The Olympians' earned a victory in their final tennis match of the season to finish with a .500 record.
Tamaqua used a strong pitching performance en route to a convincing 9-0 Schuylkill League win over Jim Thorpe.
Blue Raiders' starter Connor Hartung had a no-hitter through five before allowing a hit to leadoff the sixth. Hartung finished with a eight strikeouts, while also going 3-for-4 at the plate with an RBI and a run scored.
Bo Rottet went 3-for-4 for Tamaqua (10-4, 7-1) with a double and four RBIs. Brett Kosciolek chipped in two hits with a double and two RBIs.

Bangor managed to outlast Northern Lehigh in what was an offensive explosion for both teams, holding on for a 22-14 Colonial League win.
Carson Freeman got the win for the Slaters' and also had a strong game at the plate, going 4-for-6 with two doubles and six RBIs. Joe Nigito chipped in four hits, including two doubles, to go along with three RBIs.
Cody Hallman led Northern Lehigh (1-13), going 4-for-5 with four RBIs. Kris Seiler added two RBIs while going 4-for-4 with two doubles.
