At least one person was injured Wednesday in a Lehigh Township crash along SR248, several hundred yards west of the Cherryville intersection. The driver was traveling west and apparently lost control. The vehicle went down a slight embankment and snapped off a utility pole, knocking out power to 1,700 PPL customers. The highway was reduced to one alternating lane of travel.
