Anthony J. Napolitano

, 34, Lansford, was found guilty of possession of a controlled substance after a jury trial held Aug. 28. Judge James Goodman presided over the trial. The jury found Napolitano not guilty of possession of drug paraphernalia. Napolitano was arrested by Tamaqua Police on Oct. 24, 2018. He will be sentenced at 11:15 a.m. Oct. 3.

Anthony W. Hill

, 30, Nesquehoning, was accepted into the State Intermediate Punishment Program for 24 months in a decision by President Judge William E. Baldwin on Aug. 28. Hill was arrested by Coaldale Police on Dec. 7, 2017, on charges of burglary, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

Hill will be confined in a state correctional facility for seven months, with a minimum four months in an institutional alcohol and drug therapeutic community, followed by a minimum two months in a community-based alcohol and drug therapeutic community, followed by six months outpatient treatment and eight months supervised integration into the community.
