Pleasant Valley school board

At its meeting on Nov. 7, the Pleasant Valley School Board approved hiring additional employees, granting requests for time off and field trips. The list includes:

• Tiffany Sobiech has been hired as a professional staff day-to-day substitute at $110 per day.

• Amalie James has been hired as a professional staff substitute at $110 per day.

• Brandon Libro, volleyball line judge; and Karen Voulo, scoreboard operator, both resigned.

• Athletic noncoaching positions were approved: Alex Wunder, varsity boys basketball statistician, $48; and Patrick Luchowski for scorebook/scorekeeper for both junior varsity girls basketball and varsity girls basketball at $30 and $40 respectively.

• A supplemental contract for Animation Club adviser at the high school was granted for Elizabeth Negron at $1,137.50.

• Three athletic volunteers were approved. They are Kelly Williams, girls basketball; Douglas Wisser, boys basketball; and Inge Burlew, swimming.

• Michelle Lemoine was approved for a casual security personnel position at $14.71 per hour.

• Kristin Heckman was hired as a full-time health room technician at PVMS and PVIS, prorated at $28,754 per year.

• Kelly Collins was reassigned as a full-time health room technician from PVES and PVIS to only PVES.

School board directors Donna Yozwiak and Laura Jecker did not vote on agenda items in this category where it involved someone they know.
